I got curious about how passionate some folks are about #DewPoint, and also why I had never paid attention to it before. So I did some digging.
Fans of DP think of it as a superior "quantitative measurement of comfort" to #RelativeHumidity. The argument is that RH at different Air Temperatures don't translate to the "same feeling" of dry/humid: 15°C/59°F at 100% RH (DP=15°C/59°F) "feels less humid" than 30°C/86°F at 50% RH (DP=18°C/64°F).
