What's a non-fiction book that's kind of.... beach read material?! It can be puff and pop!
Facing a week with no internet and trying to load up my Kobo with something other than Debt by David Graeber as my *only* option

I've just spent the last hour-or-so updating my "Books I'd Recommend" list on my blog. You might spot something in there you like, so why not take a look.
I am so close to the end of The Locked Tomb Trilogy by Tamsyn Muir. What a delight! It's witty, so well written, fantastic characters, grotesque but not in a way that is off-putting somehow. I love the characters! The plot is wild, too. All over the place, but somehow it works.
The second book did something I have never seen before. It was written talking to You. Like, you did this then you did that. I've never seen a book written like that.
Anyway, I highly recommend the trilogy. Gideon the Ninth, Harrow the Ninth, then Nona the Ninth.
Definitely unique writing in some ways. A real delight and I will be sad to say goodbye to these characters!
I am once again asking for #trans #book recommendations
I asked a while ago on Twitter and got some solid recommendations, up until the hot steamy sex started. Folks, i don't wanna read that
I want books by trans people, about trans people, where the story is just some fun drama, action, adventure, sci-fi, or whatever. Their struggles with gender identity may or may not be a plot point, but i just want to see people like me in the types of stories i enjoy
We are not inherently sexual objects, we're people like any other and there's got to be books that reflect that
Prefer to buy .epub directly from author but I'll buy through Kindle if need be
Thoughts? Looking for a good read...
