@regionativo yes!! Definitely yes! I loved this book, all I can say about it is that the possibilities are endless! I'm reading the second one now...

@JustJenny @olimould excellent, in the shopping bag it goes, thanks!

I am in need of a good intergalactic space opera... last one I read was Stephen Moss' The Fear Saga and Adrian Tchaikovsky's Children of Time series

@regionativo @JustJenny Children of Time was great, not read the The Fear Saga - any good?

I can also highly recommend A Memory Called Empire by Arkady Martine (and it's sequel)

@olimould @JustJenny Fear Saga is good, specially the first two books, I feel the third was less impact ful but maybe it was because the first one was where a lot of what made the series special occurred (its like the John Wick series, the second and third movies were okay but the magic happened on the first one, if that makes any sense)
@regionativo @JustJenny I get it yes! Thanks, will check it out
@olimould @regionativo @JustJenny Memory Called Empire is on Prime Reading at the moment.
@regionativo I've read all 3 and they are absolutely bonkers. In a good way!
@regionativo it's brilliant, a fantastic read
@regionativo I liked it. Very inventive, thought-provoking and sometimes mindbending. I haven't started the second yet but I will at some point.
@regionativo I have heard that book is pretty good.
@regionativo Best writing I’ve read on the trauma of the Cultural Revolution. Novel ideas. Very different way of structuring the flow of the story to most writers - almost like a threaded river that goes through many landscapes and ends in a very different place to where it started. I’ve read all three, and what a span!
