Rev. Beardman SamSuzi the #ratbike continues to vex me. I can run around town at low speeds (30-40mph) for hours. But within about 15 minutes of running at 55mph or so, she starts to bog down and die. She then won't even start unless I let her sit and cool for about 10-15 mins.
Currently thinking the issue is the janky bodges on top of the prehistoric electrics. I know I don't have a full 12v at the coils. Could be dropping when things get toasty.

My old rat bike which is a xv1100. Currently in disgrace after going for a slide on a roundabout and wrecking the tank and bars. After repairing it the electrics kept falling to bits. I would fix one bit and then something else fell to bits. The whole ride needs a full rewire with new switches. #ratbike
