#Day189 of #365HappyDays : this is the cover of a book I finished #today. It’s not really a full book, it’s a #KindleSingle and it’s 4.5 in the series I started a couple of weeks ago. The first four are full #books and this is essentially the what-happened-next that I really wanted to know following the end of #StrangerChild, the fourth in the series.

I liked it. It’s what I wanted, and finding a new [to me] #author that I’m really enjoying is definitely a reason to be #happy.

Somebody in work recommended this book to me, so I thought I’d give it a whirl. They told me this wasn’t as good as all the ones that follow, but it sets up the characters for the series of #books moving forward. I’m enjoying it in its own right, though. It’s well written and cleverly done. Some parts are really hard to read.

I’m on page 261 of 460.
