If the #EU is serious about #digitalsovereignty and #privacy, #Mastodon is a meaningful step, but also a delicate one.
Supporting the #fediverse shouldn’t mean centralising it, capturing it, or over-regulating it. The real challenge is to fund capacity, standards, and sustainability without undermining #decentralization, pluralism, or community governance.
