@xoagray There is a tool called #Protontricks. You can try and use it to install additional Windows components. Which ones, you need to google though.

Another thing you can try is install #Protonup and use it to install the latest version of #Proton-GE. Then you need to click on the games list button in this tool and switch whatever is in once human to Proton-GE.

@escaiwolquer I think the only thing that would warrant the whole "THIS IS A LIFE CHANGING UPDATE" type title at this point is if all the features of #protontricks and the #WINE settings configuration GUI (being able to change the simulated windows version, etc.) were integrated directly into Steam's GUI, especially the ability to run third party mod loaders inside the proton prefix. Cause that actually WOULD be an enormously beneficial change.

Until then these guys need to chill.

How do I tell proton tricks where my steam directory is? It errors that it can't find it when running CLI, if I use the GUI all my games are listed but I'm unable to do anything - after selecting a game it errors out missing a magic key
