Really? I have to enable third-party cookies in order to set my preferences to not have cookies? Are you serious, TripIt?

The single most privacy-respecting search service is #Ombrelo:

But note that it’s more of a nerd service for advanced users.
Sorry, this just makes me laugh. "View once" is such a "oh you sweet summer child" idea. Look, you either shared it with them or you didn't. They either have access to it or they don't.
If you are sharing something with someone you can't/don't trust to keep it long term, maybe you shouldn't share it at all?
Even better, if your are sharing something that you can quickly change - like a login credential - then just change it after you've stopped trusting them with it.
This idea was never more than a bad promise and #PrivacyTheater.

When you're first opening #Microsoft's #Edge, you're greeted with an unskippable consent dialog from: https://www.iab.com
With this, Microsoft is telling you that they are sharing your data with the entire advertising industry.
It's also worth pointing out that IAB's consent form is probably illegal within GDPR because it was already deemed so, and Microsoft's Edge is the only browser that's greeting users with these shenanigans.
