this is digital blackface and racist as fuck.

whomever is doing this knows Black people are THE Culture; so how swell it is to make money off Black culture without Black people?

and don't get me started with the fact that automata are proxies for SLAVES.

don't hesitate to call out Alphabet/Google/Youtube for making money off Black digital slaves.

this isn't progress. this is still baldfaced racism.

@ai6yr my Uber driver on the way to the mechanic the other day said that Uber hadn’t adjusted fees to account for gas prices at all, but that they are hard-pushing their drivers into getting the Uber gas credit card, which according to him only works at the most expensive gas stations, pushing drivers into debt to the very company they’re contracting for

Miasma: A tool to trap AI web scrapers in an endless poison pit

"AI companies continually scrape the internet at an enormous scale, swallowing up all of its contents to use as training data for their next models. If you have a public website, they are already stealing your work.

Miasma is here to help you fight back! Spin up the server and point any malicious traffic towards it. Miasma will send poisoned training data from the poison fountain alongside multiple self-referential links. It's an endless buffet of slop for the slop machines.

Miasma is very fast and has a minimal memory footprint - you should not have to waste compute resources fending off the internet's leeches."

Looks like the only way out of this war is regime change.

Here in America that is. Maybe Israel also.

Subtooting the person complaining about me linking to Instagram here, but look we all rank our priorities differently. I hate Meta too but literally every single community group I'm involved with organises through Facebook, Instagram or Whatsapp and I personally rank being involved with them as more important than disentangling myself from evil tech companies in this moment. I'm trying to encourage them to use alternatives where possible, but in the end community organising has to happen where the community is.

"Intel already consumes more water than all 115,000 Hillsboro residents combined. With nearly 30 more data centers active or in development, we aren’t just building a backup for our kitchens; we are building a massive industrial cooling system.- the water from the WIllamette is being sent to Hillsboro to cool Data Centers, tech players, and for sure the emerging AI Factories that the Herald has released the news on that are now being planned in the area."
