Einfache Farben sind einfach und überall. Dann lieber schwierige. Ein schwieriger Farbton ist Rosa. Heute will ich es wissen und habe zwei Rosatöne aus Pigmenten gemischt. Spannend!

Simple colours are simple and everywhere. I’d rather go for the tricky ones. One tricky shade is pink. Today I’m going to find out for myself and have mixed two shades of pink from pigments. Exciting!

Einblicke.
Kennt Ihr das? Ein Farbton begeistert, scheint genau das fehlende Teil in einem Puzzle zu sein, das Ihr noch garnicht angefangen habt. Schlimmes Leiden? Nö. Aber doch hartnäckig. Besonders, seit ich mit Pigmenten und anreiben eigener Druckfarben das Farbenparadies betreten habe.
So langsam komme ich auch dahin die einzelnen Pigmente zu verstehen und durch behutsames Mischen neue Spektren zu erzeugen.
Jetzt war es Curry. Das Farbspektrum. Ein spezieller Ton. Mir schwebten „Curry Gelb“ und „Curry Orange“ vor. Ihr seht, die Welt bewegt sich in Nuancen. Das war mein Sonntag. Heraus kam ein gutes Gefühl, zwei gute Farben, eine große Freude.

Insights.
Do you know that feeling? A particular shade that inspires you, that seems to be exactly the missing piece in a patchwork you haven’t even started yet. A terrible affliction? Nah. But it’s hard to shake off. Especially since I entered this colour paradise with pigments and by making my own printing inks.
I’m slowly getting to the point where I can understand the individual pigments and create new colour spectra by mixing them carefully.
This time it was curry. The colour spectrum. A special shade. I had ‘curry yellow’ and ‘curry orange’ in mind. As you can see, the world moves around in nuances. That was my Sunday. The result was a good feeling, two lovely colours, and great joy.
