Rather pleasing how well the Actual solar generation followed the Forecast (red dots) all morning.
Rather *less* pleasing that the battery was fully-filled by 13:00 so generation was curtailed down to about 7kW because of the site export limit imposed by the grid operator.

I really must sort out some mechanism to force-export from the battery during the evening peak, to create space in the battery for the next day's generation.
Currently investigating #PredBat to achieve that.

#SolarPV

Latest #FOSS project. Over the holidays I decided that HA+#Predbat is badly supported and way too complex to set up and maintain, for optimising my #Solis Inverter and battery usage on #OctopusEnergy's smart tariff.

So I built my own, using #dotnet and #Blazor. Took about a week of doing a few hours' Dev each night, and is working well with interactive + prerendering. Using @mudblazor and #BlazorApexCharts made the UI build a dream.

It's time, #homeassistant updated, #predbat updated, #octopus integration updated, all the 'free electricity' toggles enable. Let's see what tomorrow brings between 0700 and 0900
Well, that's #Predbat now handling my Solar/Battery Storage/Grid electrical usage. #home-assistant continues to deliver.
