The Case for a #Total #Crypto #Ban in #Politics
Crypto’s promise of "financial innovation" has become a #smokescreen for old-fashioned #corruption at the highest levels in our country. While #cryptocurrency may have uses for ordinary #citizens, ownership by #elected #officials presents unique and #dangerous #conflicts of interest that existing #laws are #powerless to stop. The #DOJ seemed to frustrate Young on Thursday by arguing he as the judge is #powerless to enforce his ruling that the #Trump admin’s targeted #deportations were #unconstitutional.
“All issues related to the initiation of removal proceedings…must be channeled into #immigration court,” DOJ atty Paul Stone said. “There isn’t any remedy that the court can offer.”
“You’re telling me there is no remedy?” an astonished Young replied.
“That’s what the statutes require,” Stone said.

...and I feel so powerless, useless, worthless, and a bit scared... I can't go into all the details, but my male ex is not keeping his promises, he's not keeping up his obligations, and this now puts us into a situation that I feel terrible about. If it goes wrong all the way, it will end up causing me to be in debt, and I'll need to find a way to work through that... If that should happen. But, the way things have been going, I feel like it will happen, and I just don't understand why... There are better ways for my ex to deal with this, some of them could even end up making him some money instead of costing us, and causing me to get into serious financial troubles... And I don't understand why he won't "just" do that, I don't understand why he's taking the worst way possible... I feel so bad, as I'm bullied into a situation where I can only seem to lose big time. While all I've done is try to help him... For over 12 years already... I want this to end, and part of me even would welcome the bad ending, because I may be in a shitty place then for several years to come, at least then I know that there will be an end to it all.
