Acharya Prashant is a spiritual teacher rooted in #Advait #Vedanta.

He is a #veganism promoter, an #environmental #activist, a #science activist, a campaigner against #superstition, and a champion of essential #human #freedom.

His unique #spiritual #literature is at par with the highest words that mankind has ever known. Equally, one could simply call him a #teacher beyond any tradition.

Self-love is not about feeling good, but about being ruthlessly true to oneself.
Self-awareness is self-love, self-indulgence is self-deception. #Truth rarely feels good. It cuts. It exposes. It demolishes #comfort.
Speaking on AI, he presented an uncomfortable truth- if machines can replicate our functions, it suggests that much of what we call “intelligence” is merely pattern repetition. In such a rapidly changing world, the only way to stay ahead is for education to focus not on chasing external change, but on connecting the individual to oneself. He emphasised that without this, education remains incomplete.
In his address, he raised the most fundamental question about education- what is the system really producing? He clarified that the issue is not the failure of the education system, but its limited direction. Redefining the idea of the “unknown,” he said that the real unknown is not the external world, technology, or the future, but the human being herself- and the irony is that neither society, nor family, nor education equips her to understand herself.

#AcharyaPrashant addresses his alma mater, IIT Delhi, at the Alumni Leadership Conclave 2026. The conclave brought together 400+ CXOs, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and global IIT Delhi alumni on one platform.

Acharya Ji has previously been honoured with the “Outstanding Contribution to National Development” award by the IIT Delhi Alumni Association.
