The little shipping company that’s making Europe’s sanctions look silly

A German logistics firm exploits gaps in European law to ship contraband to Russia. We know because we followed their illicit route from a Berlin supermarket to Moscow.

Are letters reaching the US from Europe or other countries?

I'm trying to send a basic letter, and while the USA was in the postal service's menu for its price calculator about a month ago, it has since disappeared.

In trying to do a web search for information about why this may be, I stumbled across an article saying that people in the US generally just aren't receiving mail from abroad.

I know packages were halted for a time, but the postal service for my country of residence was still sending postcards and letters.

Trying to figure out if it's worth it to drop the letter off at a mailbox this weekend or if something's up that I'm not aware of -- and whether or not the letter will reach the recipient.
