México enfrenta mayor presión internacional en materia de anticorrupción

El VII Congreso Internacional Anticorrupción reunió a especialistas internacionales, fiscalías estadounidenses, autoridades mexicanas y líderes empresariales para analizar los nuevos riesgos globales .

México enfrenta una creciente presión internacional en materia de integridad institucional, cumplimiento corporativo y combate a la impunidad, particularmente ante la próxima revisión del Tratado entre México, Estados Unidos y Canadá (T-MEC), así como frente a las nuevas políticas de enforcement impulsadas desde Estados Unidos, destacaron durante el diálogo técnico entre autoridades, fiscalías internacionales, especialistas en compliance, empresas y representantes del sector público, en el que se convirtió el VII Congreso Internacional Anticorrupción de la International Chamber of Commerce México (ICC México).

En un contexto internacional donde la corrupción dejó de ser vista únicamente como un problema político para convertirse en un factor de riesgo económico, comercial y de seguridad global, los especialistas coincidieron en que la corrupción ya no puede analizarse únicamente como un fenómeno local o administrativo, sino como una estructura transnacional vinculada con flujos financieros ilícitos, redes de lavado de dinero, crimen organizado, cadenas globales de suministro y riesgos reputacionales para las empresas.

En este contexto, se advirtió que las investigaciones internacionales están ampliando su alcance más allá del soborno tradicional, incorporando figuras relacionadas con crimen financiero, asociaciones ilícitas, operaciones transnacionales y esquemas complejos de ocultamiento de recursos.

Los especialistas señalaron que México se encuentra bajo una observación internacional cada vez más estricta en materia de integridad, cumplimiento y riesgos financieros, especialmente en lo relacionado con operaciones empresariales, cadenas de suministro y mecanismos internos de control corporativo. –sn–
