Then he proceeds to show me a video and then demonstrates how to wind the single on the narwhal tool because he literally knows more than me! Then watches over my shoulder to make sure I didn't make a mistake because he didn't want it getting tangled!

I Andean plied it! (This was made from the single I spun from my first batt off my new #DrumCarder.) My first #woolen #yarn! It looks like it's 4-ply, but it's only 2-ply! It's only 32 yards. ๐

I'm done #plying one hank! Yay! ๐ฅณ It's 180 yards! My longest #handspun #yarn yet! ๐ I'm very proud of myself, as you can see... I feel like it's a little underplyed in some places, but whatever.
Now to wet set it and even up the rest of the single-ply before I start plying again. Need 364 yards total!
Doing a little #plying now on my rainbow ๐ yarn. This will be my second #yarn. Can't wait to see how it turns out! ๐

Got a couple big bobbins of plied yarn and these remainders. Not so bad. Day 22.

I know you are supposed to let singles rest but I could only wait a couple of hours until curiosity over what these three plies would become overrode best practice. Interestingly, I think I like the singles better than the plied yarn. There are some kinda ugly areas within this fat bobbin. But no judging until after the bath!
