I'm done #plying one hank! Yay! 🥳 It's 180 yards! My longest #handspun #yarn yet! 😁 I'm very proud of myself, as you can see... I feel like it's a little underplyed in some places, but whatever.
Now to wet set it and even up the rest of the single-ply before I start plying again. Need 364 yards total!
I've been working on this sample (20 yards) #yarn for the #CatCouch. This is #handspun 50% Blue-Faced Leicester/50% #GulfCoast #wool.
I'm going for a tweedy look for the couch upholstery!

I guess I'm done #HandSpinning #yarn for fun (except for a 3-ply, haven't done that yet). Instead, I probably need to pick a pattern and then spin yarn for the pattern.
I've been wanting to #crochet a kitty couch for a long time. The pattern calls for 364 yards of one color and 236 yards of another.
The average length of my #HandSpun yarns is 75 yards. 🥴😳
