The skull has been turned upside down here, a view not often seen, as I was inspecting the palate.
The #xenomorph is an intrinsically #nsfw kind of #inflatable. Even without the naked sea reptile doing his best to look lecherous (it's not his forte.)

The first mural I ever painted (1997) was at the Dudley Museum & Art Gallery, for a temporary exhibition of marine Jurassic fossils. Part of the mural featured a pliosaur; I reworked the pliosaur pose in my 2009 "Leviathan" painting for The Etches Collection.

It features a bunch of species from the Late Jurassic Kimmeridge Clay: a dead sauropod, "The #SeaRex" (probably #Pliosaurus), #Hybodus, #Hypsocormus, #Metriorhynchus, #Aspidorhynchus, and lots of #Allothrissops.
