So now I'm researching version control software because of an idea for a startup. Need to start getting this out of my skull and into notes so I can concentrate on other things today.
I had an idea for maybe making things better for game/media development using not-proprietary software by rent seekers.
Unity game devs that use Unity Version Control (formerly PlasticSCM) can't work today because there's a licence issue.
This NEVER happened while it was an independent company. I used it for over five years.
In #PlasticSCM, when you are in the process of doing a merge, once you have clicked "merge" on a single file, you can no longer go back and view the Source/Destination/Merged.
So if you make a decision for one file, then change your mind after looking at another file in the same merge operation, you can't go back and change how the first file chooses from Source/Destination.
Clicking "Merge selected files" does nothing.

What is the point of having a "dark theme" when 98% of the screen is still white?
If I wanted to burn out my retinas, I'd just keep using the light theme for maximum effect. Why hold back?
BTW, this is Plastic SCM, a proprietary package for software version control.
