@carcasor las farmacias son una de mis causas de cabreo preferidas últimamente. Que yo entiendo que con la medicación de la SS no les da para forrarse como antaño pero como se pasan! Ya conté sobre mi farmacéutica antivacunas. El otro día pregunto por un colirio en una no habitual. 24,50. En la mia 19,99, en amazon 16,50. Lo compraré en la mía a pesar de todo pero todavía, la tía, cuando le dije que no la quería, me pone cara de "cómo te atreves a cuestionar el precio en UNA FARMACIA? " A ver chiques, os habéis entregado en cuerpo y alma a vender aceite de serpiente, placebos y artículos de belleza. Entended que no podemos seguir respetando vuestra profesionalidad a estas alturas. Queréis competir en ese mercado de mierda? Vale. Pero asumid la competencia y bajad los precios. Y no os pongáis dignos, por favor, que resulta patético. #rant

Vision Zero

Kann mir mal irgend jemand erklären, warum sie weiter Autofahren durfte? Meiner Meinung nach sollte gegen ihren behandelden Arzt, der kein Fahrverbot ausgesprochen hat, wegen Totschlags ermittelt werden.

Die Frau hatte laut Staatsanwaltschaft bereits im Mai vergangenen Jahres wegen eines plötzlichen Ohnmachtsanfalls am Steuer einen Unfall verursacht.

There's plenty of possible reasons that would make somebody put an end to a relationship or friendship, etc. And I can understand them.

But poor communication (outwards) isn't one of them (like, you not expressing what's wrong to the other person and being silent about it).

If you don't speak up, you're the problem (or at least part of the problem). If you stop talking like a normal human being: make room, bye.

So if you don't talk to your friends, if you don't reach out to at least "do your part" (read as: show you care a bit) or if you'll only be there when it's joy time and want to be heard out:

Don't be a victim, and stop being a bad friend or a bad partner. Otherwise, leave them alone and explain that you can't keep up. People can be selfish, but to be selfish and transparent at once is what will preserve some respect.

I hate that tech docs are often fragmented and too generalized or too specific to be quickly parsable (thanks MS and AWS), and I hate that people turn to LLMs because of this, and I hate that the LLM dependence will make this problem even worse, but most of all I hate a boss that says "Just use AI to make the update" - Sir, do you really want Claude to have admin access to Azure?? A human needs to understand this problem and solve it, and it will take more than 20 minutes. #rant #ai #sysadmin

Elections are a False Dilemma fallacy. You can't hold people accountable when there's a psychological phenomenon that when you artificially limit their options, you can control what options they take. You get angry at the ___ % who voted for ___ and conclude that you're living among madmen and murderers, and you lose community solidarity in bitter arguing, while the rich fucks move in, installing their superstores and complexes, laughing the whole way. But it doesn't have to be that way.

Supposing "51% of everyone voted for Evil McNastyFace." Firstly, you're being duped by plurality (most likely). People who didn't vote aren't counted, and if only 1 out of every 4 people voted, your new king was elected by like 13% of the population.

But secondly, and more importantly, if your ballot was not a vote, and instead left a blank space for people to write in a candidate, with no indication of what candidates are "official" or "allowed" then not even that 13% would vote as a single bloc. They'd have rich fucks roaring on the news that you HAVE to ONLY vote for OUR candidates, and people would still deviate from their orders.

Now imagine that there was no propaganda. Any rich fuck who tried got accidentally fallen out of a 4 story window'd. Nobody knows who to vote for, nobody has any clue about what the election is even for, the results would be totally random!

So you are not choosing who you vote for in an election, no matter how well informed you are. The people who choose which candidates you have to vote for are making that choice for you. Because you're a dumbass if you don't strategically vote against evil, and if you do then that's not a choice.

Autism sucks sometimes because it irritates me so much that I have a plan for my day and personal goals but third-party factors (like power failures, lack of water, actions by other people, etc) just screw it up completely.

It messes up my mood and I don't wanna rely on other people's time when I got my own ability to do stuff. I plan my days cause I need to take action when facing the consequences of living in the failed state of #Venezuela

It can be hard running a small business. If you want to sell to a large organisation like the UK Government, there are forms to fill in, checks to comply with, tenders to bid on, and a hundred other things.

Luckily, there's the RM6237 Low Value Purchase System to make everything better. If a department wants to buy something below a certain threshold, they can contact any of the registered suppliers and just buy it. No complicated paperwork, cheaper prices, win-win!

Except, there's on annoying bit of bureaucracy. Every month I have to tell the Government Commercial Agency what business I've done.

Fair enough, I guess. Let them know how many paperclips I've sold to the Ministry of Administrative Affairs.

But there's a wrinkle. What if I've sold nothing? Well, I still have to log on, wait for an MFA code to be send, click through, and report "No Business".

I think that's a waste of time. But I wondered how much time it collectively wastes for the nation's small businesses.

So I filed a Freedom of Information request to see how many people have to sign in to let them know they haven't done any business. They replied quickly - although sent the data as a PDF rather than the requested machine-readable format.

Here's how much of a waste of time it is for everyone:

Even if you assume that it only takes 2 minutes to fill in their form, that's over 2 days worth of time being wasted every month.

At best, 59 small businesses reported that they sold something via RM6237. Well over a thousand businesses are clicking on a button which, frankly, ought not to exist. Why isn't the onus on those buying using the system to report what they've spent and who they spent it with?

After clicking the button, I'm always asked to rate my experience using the service. I FoI'd that data as well but was told:

This information is not held. Feedback scores submitted are anonymised and only available as a service-wide view; consequently, we do not capture or hold results specific to RM6237

So the GCA are wasting everyone's time and do not track how annoying it is.
