Confusing reporting style but enough clarity for schadenfreude.
Fracking wastewater disposed of deep underground causes quakes. Shallower disposal causes geysers and the deadly gas hydrogen sulfide kills all life around it. It also re-opens old plugged wells = oil and CH4 leaks.
The Texan government agency RRC "regulates" on neoliberal voluntarism principle, doesn't communicate in good faith with landowners who see their drinking water poisoned, but sells them lies and deceit, just as Chevron and the other sociopathic players in the Permian.

why am i posting this.
because these smartasses in the #oilandgas industry. voted for trump. he said he would #drillbabydrill. now they have serious market volatility, and there is word on the street about a glut. not to mention #tariffs on steel. #permian wells need hell a lot of that. plus a tariff on heavy crude which will make diesel more expensive.
this is the worlds most important industry by far & they are that fucking stupid. and that's relevant.
