Google, which once pledged to be carbon neutral by 2030 and has long been seen as a pioneer in clean energy, is now partnering with fracking companies to power Google data centers.

One such gas power-plant in Texas would emit more carbon dioxide, a primary driver of the climate crisis, per year than the entire city of San Francisco.

Fracked methane gas power-plants for Google data centers in Illinois and Nebraska are also planned.

Fossil fuel companies have been spreading toxic and radioactive fracking waste on farm fields for years.

It's exempted from federal regulation thanks to legislation authored by Lloyd Bentsen. Remember him? Democrats have also been captured by this industry.

This is a big fat non-monetary but very valuable subsidy.

Siempre me quedo pensando ¿quién está loco? Los CEOs, los que hablan de economía, nunca colocan en su planilla al ambiente! Si lo hicieran sería más difícil justificar que su modelo pasa por más extracción y más destrucción! Por eso ni lo nombran o, a lo sumo, te ponen crecimiento sustentable sabiendo que eso no existe!
¿ Para qué llevar a ese tipo a un programa de radio? Supongo que Bercovich comparte con él todo su panorama sobre extracción a través del fracking, de la minería, del litio y así siguiendo…No pueden colocar en su excel al ambiente, si lo hicieran verían que es un camino de muerte
