1) Cerberus by Lost - Russian Imperial Stout... nice and thick, coming close to syrupy + freshly roasted Vietnamese cocoa nibs and vanilla beans laid in salt.

2) Pindakees by Kees x Frontaal - Peanut Butter Pastry Stout....a dark beer, full of peanuts and chocolate. Super creamy.

3) Banana Splitter Stout by Moersleutel - Rich Peruvian cocoa adds a warming, nutty depth with delicate hints of flowers and spices.

I love a lot of Pastry #stout so it’s a second shot at #PortageBrewing Into the Night.

Too medium-bodied to rate a “pastry” label in my book, it’s roasty chocolate, a hint of vanilla, and a slight bitter finish. Just doesn’t have the oomph I’m used to.
