Two cars left site this morning for some #parkrunTourism One turned right and headed South for a small, off-road #parkrun by the beach at Sizewell. I turned left and headed North straight into Norwich for a fast, flat and busy urban event (3 and a bit laps on hardcore). So congested to start that I was able to take my top off without stopping, was then able to pick up the pace to finish 2nd lady in 20:16. I went age category record hunting whilst on #parkrunTourism today. Their existing record was 23:10, but I managed to take that down to 21:21. I'm sure it was a very picturesque course if I'd been looking up rather than down to avoid various rabbit holes and just uneven ground. Wasn't sure I had it in me today, pleased to find that I did. 6th overall to boot #parkrun #running #RunnersOfMastodon

A bit of local #parkrunTourism this morning to tick off a long-standing #NENDY (I've been waiting for dry weather and a gap in my schedule). A chaotic start across a field, dodging rabbit holes, then trying to weave through congestion. Started with the 26 minute pacer and finished with the 23 minute pacer. Only counted 34 steps #parkrun

On the tourism trail with the club this morning. Over the water to Wales to Rogiet (which I'd not been to before). Thursday's race still in the legs, I couldn't even match the pace even though it was a shorter distance. I might have been able to catch 1st lady if I hadn't had to retie my laces twice in the last km. Fastest #parkrun of the year. #RunnersOfMastodon #running #parkrunTourism

Last chance for some #parkruntourism this month (as I am volunteering next week). I had originally planned to head down to Bridgewater to tick off a number 9 event, but they cancelled due to slippery conditions. Instead I was able to collect a 394 at Wotton which was slippery even in trail shoes.

Lots of corners around which to come unstuck, so no surprise that the fastest time of the day was 20:38. I took it steady and was rewarded with 10th overall and 1st lady.

Some #parkruntourism today. First ‘I’ #parkrun, 10 more letters to get in the alphabet challenge. 25th location and 197th #parkrun overall. Thanks to the volunteers on this blustery morning!

Today was supposed to be an easy 3 miles, but it was club #parkruntourism and I ended up running steady-hard (after an easy start). Didn't quite manage a royal progression due to the hill right at the end. I did manage to sneak over 70% age grading, which is always good for #parkrun
