BrittanyI spent nearly 2 decades in the restaurant industry. I was out long before #covid19 , but I knew that not just the lack of #paidsickdays but enforcement of health codes requiring contagious people not to handle or serve food would be a problem. Even for those who could afford to #StayHomeWhenSick many establishments regularly pressured servers and kitchen staff to come in, even when quite visibly ill.
