After some failed attempts with #Transdev, I got an e-ticket to try their new busses (and visit @BlackMinaFZ8 !)
The e-ticket is a PDF with an #Aztec code in it. That decodes to an odd string of unreadable characters that I can't even replicate in an Aztec generator.
I've seen a talk before about European public transport e-tickets, but couldn't find info on aztec codes.
The nerd in me really wants to convert it to a #pkpass file, but allas.

For those it may interest: let it be known that we also have a #GNOME application (called "Passes") for handling #PKPass or #esPass tickets, for #LinuxMobile travelers and partygoers in abandoned warehouses kitted up for a rave.

I would be happy to see someone contribute some sort of inter-app integration between "Passes" and GNOME Calendar someday: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-calendar/-/issues/1127

was ist die simpelste Methode, um den Inhalt einer #pkpass-Datei / #Passbook in #Linux menschenlesbar darzustellen? Grafische Programme oder Kommandozeile/Bash sind OK für mich.

Meine Internetsuche nach Standard-Software für #Ubuntu oder Kommandozeile zum Lesen von pkpass-Dateien war nicht sehr erfolgreich.

#Catima 2.34.0 is out!

This release adds support for #Passbook (#pkpass) files, commonly used for event tickets and more!

It also contains some other minor fixes and better handling of image thumbnails (especially transparent ones).

On the end-user side, this release probably doesn't look that different, but it contains some major code refactoring. It is also the first release with #Kotlin code in it.

Die PKPass-Datei habe ich in der App #fWallet gespeichert, die es bei @fdroidorg gibt. Mit KDE Itinerary müsste das auch funktionieren.

Perfekt ist auch dieses Angebot nicht – ich vermisse die Möglichkeit, per #SEPA-Bankeinzug zu zahlen. Wie schon andere schrieben, gilt ein D-Ticket immer nur bis zum Ende eines Kalendermonats, aber dafür kann der VRS nichts.
