Trying out #OpenQDA and it's good! Still not a lot of features, but hopefully it'll grow. The Github community seems enthusiastic. I've been using CATMA, but I think I'm moving.

End of last year we presented the latest version of #OpenQDA, an open source research infrastructure for qualitative data analysis, at @Weizenbaum_Institut – here is a short report on this by Roland Toth: https://methodslab.weizenbaum-institut.de/2024/12/20/show-and-tell-recap-openqda-a-sustainable-and-open-research-software-for-collaborative-qualitative-data-analysis/

Welp my 1-year subscription on NVIVO ran out & I wasn’t that happy. Suggestions for intuitive #qda software I can run locally with confidential data welcome. #FOSS preferred but I’ll pay to avoid too much futzing. #Openqda server install a bit daunting for local 1-person use.

Now I’ve gotta get my coding exported. Argh

I am proud to announce that the pre-release of OpenQDA is now live. #OpenQDA is an #opensource qualitative coding software that we are developing at @zemki . It can now import and export codebooks from other #QDA programs and autotranscribe. #qualitativeresearch #qualitativedata #sociology #communications #groundedtheory #qualitativeresearch #qualitativedata @sociology @communicationscholars @unibremen For more information: https://zemki.uni-bremen.de/en/research-software-made-at-zemki-pre-release-of-openqda-is-now-live/

Our next version of #OpenQDA went online: a tool for qualitative #data #analysis. Key features: ease of use, collaborative work on projects and a plug-in infrastructure that allows it to be expanded with additional functions if required.
