I learned many years ago that it's easy to manipulate colleagues with how you approach them. Some want you to be supplicant and know less than them; others want you to be dynamic.

Conversely, one colleague uses different voices to draw sympathy. It never works on me.
And another female colleague just hefts her chest around and flutters her eyelashes expecting men to fawn over her. Problem for her is: I don't like her personality so her cleavage would never have helped.
