We deserve legislation that allows us nonbinary people to move through our societies like true citizens. However, we are not so weak that we must wait for our leaders to let us live our lives.
You are the one who has to figure out what you need. While you shouldn't have to fight so hard, you are strong enough to make some small part of it happen.

Little annoyed at reading content meant to explain nonbinariness to the general public that seem to make fun of and affirm using gender language for nby folks.
Glad *you* feel comfortable with being gendered by the binary, but there are still *many* nonbinary people who are not and need writers like you to 1. Treat us and our needs seriously and without belittling our efforts to be included and 2. Make sure you do not end with the gender binary as an option. You leave folks thinking of this as the best option and just makes *me* feel bad for not being okay getting a gendered term and making everyone's life *soooo diiifficult*
