There will be times when people around you will express bigotry towards nonbinary people. As a nonbinary person yourself, it can be easy to feel ashamed for not standing up to it enough, in the right way, or at all when it happens.
Remember that it's their fault, not yours. Even though it might help in the long run, you don't have a responsibility to correct them.
Your responsibility is to survive. Surviving means picking your battles, not taking on all of them.
You can certainly change your nonbinary labels (and your other labels, too). You can also change how you exist within those labels.
You can change your appearance, demeanor, pronouns and more, while keeping your labels unchanged.
It's all up to you.
You don't have to settle for a shitty relationship just because you're nonbinary.
There are plenty of decent people out there who would appreciate all of you.
Find someone worth your time and make their life brighter, too.

When someone says that there are too many pronouns these days, it’s like complaining that there are too many exoplanets and they’re all too different from Earth to be worth studying. It just shows how limited and fearful their view of the world is.
There's going to be overlap between nonbinary people as a group and different parts of the queer/lgbtq community.
Your experience as an individual nonbinary person with said overlap will not be the same as all nonbinary people.
We are not all the same. We don't even have to be similar. In fact, our differences contribute to a wider and more lovely community.
