You're the real star of this show.
There are thousands of species each with unique life cycles. Billions of planets have characteristics humanity doesn't understand (including some in our own solar system). There may even exist other "universes" each with new wonders to confound us again, and again.
And in the face of all that there are people who still stubbornly believe that existence is so rigid and small that there can only be two genders?
Ignorance and fear drive their thinking. Don't follow their example.
You can feel and express your emotions as a nonbinary person.
You don't have to shrink yourself. You don't need to be more palatable in order to have feelings and needs.
Be fully seen, heard, and felt as you truly are.
Go ahead, be weird and contradictory. Stress a bigot out with all those pronouns. Wear something outrageous.
Take up space in a nonbinary fashion.
Your dress or demeanor can be different from nonbinary people who are otherwise similar to you.
While there can be pressure to conform even in small communities like ours, there's also room for something new.
