Kelly and I have a few traditions. One of which is, after the day is done, watching ‘The Thin Man’ every Christmas. It is a Christmas film after all.

Another is watching ‘Another Thin Man’ every New Year’s, for the exact same reason.

I'm doing a Thin Man filmfest this holiday.

Already watched the first two (which I've seen a gazillion times already).

Watched "Another Thin Man" last night , it was... really... not great. 😆

Tonight for NYE, Shadow Of The Thin Man (which I think I've seen before) and The Thin Man Goes Home (which I don't think I've ever seen).

(I also think it's funny that our library catalogs these under "Suspense"...)

As a big fan of The Thin Man, I've long wondered just where on Telegraph Hill the Charles' house was supposed to be. I've spent a long time re-watching that scene where they drive up, looking at the views, trying to place landmarks across a roughly 80-year time gap.

It never occurred to me that their house could be *where the Coit Tower is!* 😂 So glad to have that mystery finally solved.
