@brewsite Big bummer for Newport. It’s never good economic news to have a big business like that close. Newport Brewing, the only other brewery in town, also just closed. We had the first storm where wind and rain combine to make it sound like a hose is aimed straight at our windows. The salt is now washed off of the west facing windows. Now that water restrictions are dropped, we might need to take an actual hose to the north facing ones, as winter storms tend not to come from the north. #newportoregon #oregoncoast

There are more people at the beach today than there were yesterday. I’m a little surprised because it’s Monday, but then again, it’s 100 degrees inland. Today’s ocean is different with 8 foot waves and a decently high tide mid afternoon. I hope all the visitors stay safe in the water. #newportoregon #oregoncoast
