I just found out #CatherineJamieson, "Scribulatora" on 🐦 site, died of #cancer last week, aged 61. #MaxFawcett, lead columnist for #Canada's #NationalObserver, describes her: "a former Red Tory, passionate defender of reason & science, an articulate champion of progressive values & politics..someone who had unbridled contempt for liars, dissemblers & deceivers, & who reserved her harshest condemnation for those who abused the truth to advance their own political objectives"
