Il Tempo: Economia della salute, l'Italia accelera: a Roma i ‘Dialoghi sull'Innovazione accessibile'

(Adnkronos) - Un momento di confronto per fare il punto sul progresso dell'economia della salute nel nostro Paese, sulle best practice del settore e sul ruolo strategico dell'industria farmaceutica che contribuisce in modo significativo all'innovazione e agli investimenti sul territorio. Questi i temi al centro di “Dialoghi sull'Innovazione accessibile - Innovaction” , l'evento promosso da Adnkronos e Gsk, in programma a Roma, presso Palazzo Ripetta, il prossimo 9 aprile a partire dalle ore 10.
L'economia della salute è un volano per il benessere dei cittadini e per la crescita del Paese. La necessità di far progressi in oncologia e in altre patologie gravi, l'invecchiamento progressivo della popolazione e le fragilità che spesso riguardano anche i giovani possono trovare risposta in un accesso tempestivo a soluzioni innovative capaci di migliorare la qualità di vita, assicurare la tenuta del nostro tessuto sociale e produttivo e la sostenibilità del Servizio sanitario nazionale.
Con un comparto industriale secondo in Europa solo alla Germania, l'Italia deve accelerare per allinearsi agli standard europei e creare le condizioni per l'incremento dei trial e delle sperimentazioni cliniche, oltre che per l'attrattività degli investimenti. L'impegno del Governo e del Parlamento per le riforme del comparto rappresentano senz'altro un'opportunità unica, su cui serve il contributo di tutti player del settore. Best practice esistono ma occorre l'impegno congiunto di Istituzioni, imprese, accademia e società scientifiche per competere con Usa e Asia e valorizzare il potenziale del Paese.
In questo quadro si inserisce l'evento “Dialoghi sull'Innovazione accessibile - Innovaction” che vuole guidare il confronto per delineare lo stato dell'arte del settore, evidenziarne le eccellenze e contribuire alla definizione di una visione condivisa per il futuro dell'economia della salute in Italia.

Health economics, Italy accelerates: in Rome, ‘Dialogues on Accessible Innovation’

(Adnkronos) - A moment of discussion to assess the progress of healthcare economics in our country, best practices in the sector, and the strategic role of the pharmaceutical industry, which significantly contributes to innovation and investment on the territory. These are the themes at the center of “Dialoghi sull’Innovazione accessibile - Innovaction,” the event promoted by Adnkronos and GSK, scheduled for Rome, at Palazzo Ripetta, on April 9th starting at 10:00 AM.

Healthcare economics is a driver for citizen well-being and the country's growth. The need to make progress in oncology and other serious diseases, the progressive aging of the population, and the vulnerabilities often affecting young people can be addressed through timely access to innovative solutions capable of improving quality of life, ensuring the stability of our social and productive fabric, and the sustainability of the National Healthcare Service.

With an industrial sector second only to Germany in Europe, Italy must accelerate to align with European standards and create conditions for the increase in trials and clinical trials, as well as for the attractiveness of investment. The Government and Parliament’s commitment to the sector’s reforms represents a unique opportunity, on which the contribution of all sector players is needed. Best practices exist, but require the joint commitment of Institutions, businesses, academia, and scientific societies to compete with the USA and Asia and to value the country’s potential.

Within this framework, the “Dialoghi sull’Innovazione accessibile - Innovaction” event aims to guide the discussion to outline the state of the art of the sector, highlight its excellencies, and contribute to the definition of a shared vision for the future of healthcare economics in Italy.

I found this para an interesting summary… albeit usual depressing ending
(the rest of the article is about American billionaires’ “giving pledges” - now out of fashion, apparently):

...one of the most revolting parts of "#thefiles" is knowing that the same people who sit on the boards and committees of groups, foundations, and organization to "save children" "rescue abused #women and #children" and "raise money for (x)"....are also the same faces using those "#institutions" of their making and the seemingly "legitimate" departments of others, like #schools and #publicworks, as baiting grounds for the same rings they publicly claim to to be fighting against!

...why are so many of their "independent" organizations so wealthy yet the problems they claim to fight never shrink? and what accounts for most of their funding?...hush #money, blackmail traps, and backroom closedoor dealing with #international #global "leaders" who are actually just investing in their own involvement and paying for concealment of their own perverted associations, victims, etm...
