Does anyone have a recommendation for a physical book about #nålbindning (needle binding, nalbinding, nalebinding, nalbindning, naal binding, #viking #stitching, neulakinnas etc).

It's not that I can't find any. It's that there are a lot. And from the blurbs I read it's hard to find out whether they're any good.

Requirements:
- bit of history
- color photos
- decent instructions
- some nice patterns

As it's 50% a gift: bonus point if it's available as a hardcover ;-)

After a first failed attempt, I have successfully made a uhh... (don't say dick cozy, don't say dick cozy) a napkin ring!  

Next step is learning how to increase and decrease the amount of stitches I guess. Hopefully it won't be too different from knitting and crochet. 😅

And I should probably switch yarns. I noticed that this vintage 100% wool yarn claims to be moth proof and I don't think I want to be splicing lengths of it together with spit.

I think I have successfully done nålbindning! My tension is still a mess, but it's progress!  

Happy Nålbindning on youtube had a video showing what happens behind your thumb, which is what I was confused about.
