I must remember to cut myself some slack more often. I want to make some changes to the homelab, which includes my blog server, but I keep putting things off as I'm not 100% certain how to do everything I want to do yet.

My dude, you are not running a mission critical system that must have five 9's uptime. If a system we use at home is down for a couple of hours, who cares? Next week I have even more latitude as Mrs P is away with work. Even if my blog is down for a couple of hours, or heck, a couple of days, hardly anyone is going to notice, beyond a handful of RSS aggregators.

Stop procrastinating and get on with it. If it breaks, just fix it. There's nothing I can't recover from a backup or build again from scratch if it comes to it.
