KATZÙ OSO Announces New Album La Conexión To Be Released October 17th
Singer-songwriter Katzù Oso is thrilled to announce his new album La Conexión to be released October 7th via Cosmica Artists. As a preview he has released the second single off the album “Amantes” that is out now on all platforms.
“Amantes” is a Latin novela told through song — a sultry, dramatic track exploring forbidden desire and the tension between fantasy and reality. Flamenco-inspired guitars and a seductive rhythm underscore Katzù’s yearning narrative of imagining a life with someone already committed to another.
Katzù says, “Cumbias were everywhere when I was growing up — playing at family parties, in the markets, echoing through the streets of my neighborhood. I was always drawn to that hypnotic groove. One song that really stuck with me was Bobby Pulido’s ‘Desvelado’ — it was sad and hopeful at the same time, and the melody was so infectious you couldn’t help but dance. When I wrote ‘Amantes’, I wanted to capture that exact feeling — a rhythm and groove that pulls you in, forcing you to get up and dance. It’s about romance, movement, and honoring the sounds that raised me.”
