RezA day without #venlafaxine or #quetiapine has been a day without being chemically coshed into a brain fog.
Having taken #modafinil has made my mind very different. Positively so.

Not thougn the cleaning of the wetroom, or the patio.
Lots of little stuff, the sort that grows like a mould has been done. Cleared. Done. Sorted. Nuked.
Even now some 11hrs later there are cogs whirring in my mind while my eyes see something that need doing and I'm doing it.

I need to have a "Get Stuff Done" day, so 200mg #modafinil has been taken to get that going.
It's not that I've 'taken the pill and it'll work' attitude. In a hour or two my concentration will improive - always does - and I'l just find myself doing things that need doing. I don't make a list, or even think about it, I just get going.

Found some #modafinil that I must have bought some 7 years ago when I dabbled with that sort of thing. Took a tablet - 200mg - at about 8am.
My work focus was much better than normal and I'm now doing many tasks around the house which I'd normally put off. My mind is buzzing.
I might have another strip or two, and daily use I wouldn't need but I'll happily buy more.

Seriously though, on the days I need it #modafinil is great for #alertness
Not every day as they're not cheap (where I am about $2 per pill). I learnt about it from a #MichaelMosley documentary about #sleep You need a #prescription for them though (where I am anyway). It's a #stimulant like #caffeine but without the side-effects, like #jitters

Does anyone regularly cycle off their #ADHD medication? I'm in the minority taking #Modafinil but I usually take the weekend off every week. I turn into a lump all weekend but it feels good to rest
