🔊A mapping campaign in Côte d'Ivoire started in May 2025 is getting completed! Data for #gis to support the activities of @DoctorsWithoutBorders in Ouangolodougou and Tehini were lacking.
🛣🛵@openstreetmap has been updated thanks to #MissingMaps efforts, including the road network, which we will continue mapping.
💻🖱The #opendata support #msf and other humanitarian organizations in northern Côte d’Ivoire, where they assist refugees arriving from Burkina Faso.
🙌Thanks to all the contributors!

Read more about what all the member organisations of the Missing Maps initiative have been up to past year in the annual report.

There is some pretty cool stuff, for example the Lightning Project of Map Kibera, and the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in mapping workshop organised by George Washington University, and many many more!

The membership did also grow with 2 organisations: 3iS and Kenya Red Cross. Welcome to this world of open mapping!

fAIr makes humanitarian mapping faster and amplifies the work mappers do (not replacing human involvement). Kshitij Raj Sharma and Emmanuel Jolaiya told #sotmeu25 all about the tool and the features added in the last year.
