I spoke against the #VA and #AccentureFederalServices and pointed out corruption and mismanagement of funds. I fight for the rights of #veterans

I have been persecuted, and homeless since 2023.

I am presently in #Japan , seeking political asylum.

I thought that I would be safe from persecution, once I got to Japan. This turned out to be wrong.

I ran out of the funds I came here with, in February 2026, and have been #homeless here since.

I turned to every refugee assistance I could find: #JAR, #AAR, #RHQ, #FRESC, #UNHCR , the #Shinagawa City Ward Office. They all denied me assistance.

Second Harvest gave me 5 food packages, over two months, each of which lasts 2-3 days.

The #Takanawa #Catholic #Church was feeding me 1 meal a day, though now they have stopped even that.

When I reported to Mr. Takaii, a priest at #Meguro Catholic Church, that I had been abused by a Catholic Charity in #Kona , #Hawaii ( documented in the link above ), he suddenly told me he did not speak any English, though we had met a few times, and had several conversations, and he speaks English fluently.

The #corruption at the heart of the Catholic church and Christianity could not be more profound.

The #Pope has condemned #war and called for #peace , and scored cheap #poltical points against #Trump , though he has not called on all #Catholics to resign from the military, and stop participating in war. His apologia are crocodile tears.

I am presently hungry, homeless, and need of medical care.

The Japanese #Immigration Bureau keep asking me why I have "overstayed my visa". I keep responding that while my asylum application is pending, I am not overstaying in Japan. Japan is in violation of #International #Law ( 1951 & 1967 convention on the treatment of #refugees ). They can easily extend my visa, so I can get medical care and food. I have reported to them several times that I am in pain, and need food. They keep on harassing me.

It seems to me that the #JapanPM has decided to make same mistake that Japan made in #WW2 - siding with #corruption

in that year, i have

lost 15kg, going from very overweight to just slightly overweight
joined the #redcross as a trained first responder
joined the #ccc
helped organize a few #linux switch parties
lost 15kg, just wanna mention it again bcs yeah this is unironically connected to not being terminally online
met people! in meat space! like real life beings!
organized my move to a whole ass different federal state way up north happening in a few months just because i want to
went from cringe ass libturd to swag af commie
stopped being stoned 24/7
started reading books again!
became a #vegetarian

[5 media attachments] welp, that's it. after years of "if discord pulls one more stupid thing" i decided to pull the plug, and deleted my discord account. a journey nearly 10 years old, going from making the account just to join a small german youtuber's server which had like 3 messages per week, to having made life-changing decisions with the help of the many strangers of the internet i met there. - i remember meeting some soldier main in tf2 in 2017, who invited me to his server, which was the first actual social online space i was ever in, going from a 4 (D in american) in final exam english to basically native speaker within just a few years. - i remember getting to know so many different kind of people, but also never seeing them again one day to the other, but always being surrounded by people who managed to find a way to care about the stuff i typed into the ether. - i remember finding my love for linux, open source and the gaming/modding community through many other people who shared my passion on discord. - i remember so many funny things that just happened and we spent weeks, months, in one case even years going back to those, like spamming "oog" more than actual texting, doing monthly meme contests or that one incident where an admin put a 6 hour slow mode on # general, just for us to create a whole channel around that, with some of the greatest content ever put onto the internet. like typing AA, AB, AC, one message after the other until ZZ. but during that time i also got to find out and know the fediverse, open standards, communication on free platforms, so a week ago i decided to delete my accounts on proprietary, walled garden platforms, starting with discord. so, to anyone who was along for the journey, thanks for the entertainment, the listening to endless rambling, muting me when it was necessary, and thanks for all the fish. see you on the free and open source side :]

I just donated blood, for the first time in decades! I wasn't allowed to in the U.S. for a long time because of having lived in Europe too long, and the concerns about mad cow disease, even though I was mostly a vegetarian while I lived there. They lifted that restriction a few years ago apparently, and I just heard about it and went and donated! I'm pleased. #bloodDonation #RedCross
