Watching a YT video compilation of #milesprower meeting #sonicthehedgehog for the first time and I gotta say, some of the backstories given to Tails across the years is straight depressing af 😢
Now I understand the bully victim backstory for his intro in the Sonic movies. Poor guy was either abandoned as a baby, alone as a little kid (until he accidentally comes across Sonic) or straight up bullied.
Edit: This is probably what makes Sonic and Tails’ kindred bond so poignant for me. It always reminds me how important it is to have genuinely loving, caring people in your life who you can depend on and, in return, people who you want to go out of your way to care for.
