To keep it brief and spoiler-free:

I'm satisfied. I'm not a big fan of Lanolin's personality for the moment, but that's okay, I don't get why people are so pissed. She has a different attitude, it's good to have different characters.

Surge ist still kinda cool. I'm not a big fan of Kit, though.

But mostly:
GODS! I am SO fed up with heroes with "no kill" rule! Surge is right on that one, so many horrible things happen, just because Sonic will never kill people, no matter how many they killed.
Cream wanting to see no one dead, okay, she's a child. But Tangle as well?

They're actual crazy terrorists, IDW's Eggman and most of the other antagonists are NOT just your usual comedy relief villain.
No-kill endangers innocents!

Alright, about 24 Sonic comic issues to read before I'm caught up again...let's see if I can finish that today...I am pessimistic, but we'll see. 😁

I'm a bit afraid because it seems man people hate Lanolin's character development in the upcoming arc, and it would be a pity if I disliked her. But on the other hand, I guess it's okay to have unlikable characters in comics.
