Die internationale extreme Rechte trifft sich in Portugal zum «Remigration Summit». Sie besprechen «Remigrations­druck» und "Massnahmen, welche auf drei Bevölkerungs­gruppen zielen müssten: auf «Asylanten», auf «sonstige Ausländer», aber auch auf «nicht assimilierte Eingebürgerte und Staatsbürger»."¹

In Belfast setzen rechte Mobs um, was Musk online einheizt. Sie brennen Häuser und Fahrzeuge nieder, installieren rassistische Checkpoints und verfolgen migrantische Pflegekräfte auf offener Strasse.²

Die Angriffe sind nicht spontan und zufällig. «a so-called hitlist of addresses has been circulating among far-right groups since August 2025». Linke Recherche-Gruppen haben gewarnt, die Polizei hat sie ignoriert.³

Und das Berner Kantonsparlament fordert ein «Verbot der Antifa».⁴ Also jener Strukturen, die dokumentieren, was die Rechtsextremen so treiben.

Die Rhetorik zieht an. Die Macht verschiebt sich. Die Repression wird grösser.

Wenn wir in nächster Zeit nicht ständig überrumpelt werden wollen, wärs an der Zeit uns zu fragen:

Was können wir der rassistischen Hetze diskursiv entgegenhalten? Wie bremsen wir die Machtkonzentration der Tech-Faschos? Wie verteidigen wir unsere migrantischen Mitbewohner*innen?
Wie organisieren wir Solidarität, Antirassismus, Zugehörigkeit, Gegenmacht und Antifaschismus?

🏃‍➡️ Migrant Solidarity against racist hatred🔥 🌍
Lately, right-extremist protesters in the Netherlands seem to feel very comfortable. All over the place, they're going to the streets to spread there fascist ideology. Last Wednesday (May 13), they've even set fire on an asylum center in #Loosdrecht. 😡

Personally, these news make me freak out quite a bit. While anti-migration ideology being spread is no news, the protests just reached a new level of escalation. And a glance across the Atlantic (Trump, ICE, …) shows us that this is not gonna be the end of the story. 😟

Luckily, a big part of the people still proves to be welcoming of refugees and willing to show their #Solidarity 🫂 ♥️

So, what can we do about it?
💭 Meet with people in your town and think about how to show solidarity. (sending postcards, showing flags, get to know your migrant community, ...)

I've been doing some #MigrantSolidarity work lately, mostly with Venezuelans and am trying to understand the situation better.

Between the neoliberal bias of mainstream American media and the defensiveness of leftist outlets overlooking Maduro's human rights violations and consolidation of power, it's been *very* hard to get a nuanced, accurate account of things.

Any #Venezuela individuals and groups here on the fediverse I should follow?
