Does anyone know if Snapper cards offer a refund for used cards? E.g. in the UK, the equivalent system (Oyster) your card purchase price is actually a deposit, which is refunded if you return the card.

The wording on the Snapper site says "buy" and also says its an RRP, so you might be charged more than that. So I'm guessing not... but thought I would check before massively adding to e-waste & single use plastic pollution.

Once again, #Metlink have sent a cancellation notice for my train, literally as I step out my front door to catch it.

Which (of course) means it's too late for me to catch the earlier train.

I'm usually meant to be WfH today. But for Reasons™ I have to go into the office.

And so, obviously, today is the day #Metlink cancels my train, without enough warning to make the previous one.

And it's raining.

Something tells me today is going to take some resolve to get through...

And the #Metlink trains on the #KPL line aren't running between #Paekākāriki (#PAEK) and #PukeruaBay (#PUKE) this morning.

Remind me again why they put their prices up again this year?

That's 4 trips this fortnight that I personally have been affected on, and I've only used it 13 times...
