My #bicycle broke in a way I've never even heard of happening on my way home today.
I was riding normally, then I heard a bang and the saddle went loose. I took my weight on the pedals and stopped. A bolt that holds the saddle had sheared right through. I've had the bike about 10 years and used it a lot. Just #MetalFatigue I guess.

I’ve broken 3 bicycles in 7 days. My backup backup bike, a cute folding bike from Birdy just spontaneously decided to fold while riding through an intersection due to #metalfatigue #bicycle

@tsherrygeo while I agree that you should start at the far end of the wire, that little plastic bracket is going to induce metal fatigue in the wire and shorten the lifespan of the antenna. You're better off coiling with the over-under method, then securing with a Velcro wrap. #HamR #HamRadio #Antenna #BendRadius #MetalFatigue
