I might try #GalliumOS, which is a "real" #Linux #Distro, instead of the #ChromeOS without Google #FydeOS.
If that works well-enough on my 7th gen Intel dual-core+SMT with only 4GB of RAM, IN TABLET MODE with on-screen-keyboard.
If not, i'll just #Ventoy / #MediCat reboot into #RescueZilla, and restore the FydeOS image off the NAS.
Btw, 1920x1200 (WUXGA) on my Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 510-12IKB is utterly illegible, w/o scaling, via my Millennial Mk1 eye holes - reConfig to 1280x800 is fine. ๐

This puppy, a "filthy" #JMicron bridge (wich doesn't support readily available SMART reports - afaik), is my new #Ventoy / #Medicat storage!
I just dd-cloned my 128G USB stick, moved and resized the boot&storage partition, with #Gparted.
It semi-failed! I had to plug it into a Windows 10(pro) machine, let Windows complain & "repair" the NTFS partition.
All fine, biz as usual, since! ๐ ๐

The man locked himself in the porch this morning. I ran to help, but couldn't open the door myself as the lock is too high up for cats. So, I was supportive by standing right next to the door while we waited for the woman to come. 
I am exhausted.
