Eva the sewing historianAttended (briefly) a work celebration today, and since the light, if not the temperature, makes me think of spring I decided to dress all in green.
The #dirdnl style dress is made from thrifted fabric, with buttons from a work out medieval dress, but the blouse is bought new (gasp!) , as are the tights, which are from Snag tights. The shoes are from a charity shop in Helsingborg, from when I visited a friend in November.

There's this (very important) campaign regarding the unsustainable practices of the fashion industry where they ask "Do you know who made your clothes?"
My answer is : I am not senile yet: I made the tights and the shirt, and my friend Anna knitted the jumper. Unfortunately I don't know who made my knickers, bra, socks and shoes. But it is a start.
