We watched #EverythingEverywhereAllAtOnce for the first time last night. What an utterly gorgeous mind-trip of an entertaining movie. I can't pick one thing to describe my reaction to, because I loved EVERYTHING 😄 about it. So...screenshots!

And, as the daughter of a mother as well as the mother of a daughter, I just have to say...the mother-daughter-mother relationship is COMPLICATED.

I am here because of a million(s) years of mothers struggling to survive, struggling to give birth, keep their babies and children alive throughout all the history of time, the hunger, disease, fear, cold and death. Those women persevered. They survived and they created love, warmth, food, home. They looked after their families, their men, their lives and because of all they did, the uncountable millions and millions of them, I am here. And I am grateful.
