Went #Hiking in #RedwoodRegional this morning with one of my friends. We got a little bit of rain, but not much.
Took #GrahamTrail to #WestRidge to #Madrone and then down #Starflower to #TresSendes back to #WestRidge and #GrahamTrail.
The #StreamTrail and #TresSendes intersection has a new bridge!
That particular log has been there for years, and it's really cool to see how they've integrated a bridge into it!
Your question plunges me directly into the bittersweet notion of time passing, of the seasons and their own gifts, of where I ran ten years ago vs now.
These days, running in the woods of the Bohemian Highway is the tops. Above Camp Meeker there are solitary tracks in Cali evergreen that I can get to any day, and esp in the winter they give me needed refreshment.
But I will also post some favorite long runs.
Late afternoon sunlight on a madrone tree is so pretty.
Bark of an arbutus tree also known as madrone. An amazing tree that grows in some areas of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
